How old are you? Or if not that, how did you get into BSG?

I'm 25 and I started watching BSG because it was on right after Stargate, a show I'd watched for many years. Truth be told, it took me a while to warm up to it.

I think I may have watched the pilot when it first aired, as I have this vague memory of thinking that Starbuck and Apollo were brats but not much else. This before I sat and watched it properly in 2010, so I get that. :)

Exactly! The "everybody's flawed" theme is great. It's realistic. Everybody really is flawed. That said, these people are supposed to be professionals. Act like it, godsdammit!

Kendra is my inspiration. This past summer I helped my father paint the exterior of his house, which involved climbing to the top of one of those 30-some-odd foot extension ladders. Every time I started to lose my nerve I thought to myself, "Kendra could do it, she wouldn't be afraid!" It totally worked! And it made me feel about six years old.

re: Kendra ships. Hmmm. Not really. Maybe Kendra/Kat, which is about as hot-as-hell as it gets.

GeekByNight wrote a smoking hot Kendra/Kat smut called Bait and Switch. It's the only one I've seen so far. At least that I remember. Totally worth a read.
